The Leadership Montgomery County Board of Directors is made of volunteers appointed from the Chambers of Commerce in Montgomery County. During their three-year term, the members have a wide variety of responsibilities:
- Develop and update the candidate selection criteria
- Review and revise application forms, letters and other printed materials
- Manage the selection process of LMC class participants
- Ensure that appropriate, relevant sessions are selected
- Identify and recruit Session Directors
- Coordinate the development of each session and review evaluation suggestions
- Approve class project
- Develop and manage the annual budget
- Approve the marketing plan to solicit candidates for future LMC classes
- Provide assistance to the LMC Alumni Association
- Maintain the LMC Web site
