Signature Class
Tuition:
Tuition is $1,750 and includes the overnight retreat, breakfast, lunches, bus transportation for some sessions, and all materials.

Leadership Montgomery County (LMC) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating the future leaders of the Montgomery County area. LMC’s original program, the LMC Signature Class, is designed to develop new community leaders and enhance the skills and community awareness of existing community leaders. The goal of the process is to assemble a diverse group of individuals with a common interest in leadership and to better prepare those leaders to serve the community. Crafted by the President & CEO, Board of Directors, and Session Directors, the signature class provides an educational forum and leadership development opportunities for participants. Class members begin their year with an overnight retreat followed by 8 class sessions on one Thursday of each month at various locations throughout Montgomery County. Applications for the next LMC Class will open on April 1 and will be due by June 30.

Session days are 8 am to 5 pm at various locations throughout Montgomery County. Class members are expected to attend each session day in full. The class also collaborates on class project teams, utilizing their leadership skills to benefit the community. Each participant decides on the time they can dedicate to their class project. This is LMC’s leadership laboratory, and our participants find that the benefit they receive from it is usually directly related to the effort they put in. Some class project participation is mandatory for the participant to graduate. Over the LMC year, average project-hours per class member: 20-40.

Leadership Master Class is the next-level leadership program of Leadership Montgomery County. Open to LMC graduates who have graduated at least two years prior, the program consists of six classes from September through March, during which class members will take a deeper dive into leadership. The opening session will include a leadership assessment, team-building activities, and an overview of the year. Sessions two through six will engage participants in updates and leadership lessons from different parts of the county, hosted by local chamber partners. Half of each session day will focus on participants developing their leadership skills through LMC’s partnership with Texas A&M University’s Center for Executive Development.
Applications for Class 5 of the Leadership Master Class will open on May 15 and are due on July 10, 2026.

The Leadership Master Class is a 7-month program with 6 class sessions from September through March. Session days are 9 am to 4 pm at various locations throughout Montgomery County. Class members are expected to attend each of the session days.
